Lazy Sundays

What could be better than a lazy Sunday? A day with no plans, a day to revel in simply being with the ones you love. Our world needs more lazy Sundays.

How do you define the perfect lazy Sunday? Coffee, a newspaper, and sitting on the sun porch as the day drifts slowly by? Lying beside the pool drinking margaritas with your lover? Lying on the grass with your three year old trying to figure out if the cloud immediately above you is an ice cream cone or a clown? We each have our own description, but these photos come close to summing up what is ultimately important about these days, being with the ones you love without an agenda, just letting the surroundings immerse your senses in the bliss of Being.

Exhibit Announced

I was requested down at Gallery 88 this week to discuss my exhibit in November. The show will consist of my photos from the Faces of Life book. The book will be released November 9 and that same day the exhibit will open with “A Night with the Artist.” (I didn’t name it folks.) The public and media will be invited for the unveiling and I will be there to sign books and answer questions on my work.

At the end of November, the exhibit will move to Dragonfly Gallery located in the historic Faircloth-Carroll House in Milton. I will have an artist evening and book signing there too. The date for that is Nov. 20. It looks like December the exhibit will be moving over to Mobile. When I find out the locations and dates, I’ll be sure to announce it here.
