Sisters – So Different. So Alike.

I worked with two little sisters last week. They looked absolutely nothing like each other, but they were connected by an invisible string. Their love for each other came shooting at me through my lens.

New article in the NW Florida Daily News

If you read my blog, you may remember last month when Look Who Just Blouin Photography was featured in an article talking about artful baby photography in the Pensacola News Journal. Well, this weekend, the NW Florida Daily News did an article on maternity portraits and it featured an interview with not only myself, but with one of clients from Destin, Misty Copeland. It was a very nicely written piece by Angie Toole. On the newspaper’s website, you can check out the article  and the accompanying slideshow of photos from not only my work, but those of other Destin and Navarre photographers.

Rejuvenated

Just got back from a weekend away with my family. Just what I needed before beginning another busy week of shooting.

It’s gettin’, it’s gettin’, it’s gettin’ kind of hectic…

School starts in about five weeks on August 20 here in Escambia/Santa Rosa counties! For those of you who are interested in having family portraits taken before the mad rush for school clothes and supplies happens, plan ahead. I’m completely booked for July (overbooked in fact) and the first two weeks in August are starting to fill up. An apology to my blog readers: I’ve been so busy that I haven’t even had time to update my blog w/new photos. I really am sorry, I just got hit with a lot of beach sessions and want to focus on getting my clients their proofed sessions and portraits in a timely manner. Thank you for understanding.
